I was sitting there and thinking about nothing and thought to myself what an interesting subject nothing is. The more I thought about it, it seemed to take on the possibility of so many meanings when you talk about nothing. Nothing can be very important in giving other words meaning and can be used in so many infinite ways to bring meaning to conversations and even life itself. For example, if you say nothing there is no meaning or realistic understanding that an audience would understand what you are trying to communicate. What if I got up in front of an audience and said the word “nothing” and than just stood there for several minutes smiling at the audience. If I were in the audience I would wait for more to be added to nothing, but how could anyone start with nothing and be able to make a presentation.

How can you work on nothing and expect to accomplish what your job description is and if your boss asks you what you are working on, is it socially acceptable to tell him nothing? When you are inevitability are ask to come to your boss’s office for a discussion of your performance there is really nothing to discuss. How is it that nothing can be used in so many ways and have so many meanings all at the same time. I don’t believe any one of you has thought about or discussed nothing until you started reading this article. Think about it with me that nothing can be true while at the same time false depending on the situation you are in at the same time. I can’t think of another word that can be used in so many ways while accomplishing nothing.

I believe you are starting to get the idea that as I consider the many uses and meanings of nothing, it is staggering that so much can be accomplished. Look back at all the words and sentences I have been writing so far and you have been reading nothing really has been accomplished except the time we have used so what is the relationship of time with nothing? This is a really hard one for me because I have never considered anything so remotely complicated as nothing with time and time with nothing. They must be equal because if you put the equal sign between them, it looks like they are actually the same thing on each side. Could that be a mathematical equation because if you subtracted the same word from each side, the meaning would still be the same that time equals time or nothing equals nothing. The more I discuss nothing the more it becomes more complicated, but that doesn’t make sense when you think about it. How is it possible that I was first thinking about nothing and have gotten so…
