Mysterious Mail Just Received To My Deceased Father

My father died 17 years ago and I just received a packet from a bank trust in France that I never knew about. I inherited my family home and it was addressed to him and received there. I know what you are all thinking that I am falling for a fake story from someone that is trying to steal my money, but this was about 20 pages written in French with legalese language with the bank insignia so if someone is trying to con me, they know my father’s name and mailing address so this seems to be legitimate.
